I am currently in the process of preserving and recreating a late 19th century wool needlepoint and glass seed beadwork. The work is incredibly detailed. The keen eye can spot small things like the blood dripping from the fox’s mouth.
A major difference between the current state of the work and the original is the oxidation of the pigments used in green and purple beads. I am working to document the work, stitch by stitch, and reproduce it in the future!
Note: The colors chosen are not meant to be accurate, but just for the purpose of mapping
